Rai Umraopati Ray: • A Social Entrepreneur with considerable experience in the filed of Education, Environment, Health and Travel. • Launched an Education-based monthly magazine, Study World in 2012 and successfully running it with reach in over 500 institutions. Managed a team of 20 people to launch its portal and social media campaign. • Successfully published and launched Educating India, a book on Indian Education system that talked about core issues facing our Education System. Presently, I am writing a book on Indian Nutrition, to be published by Heal Foundation • Ideated and initiated Study World Excellence Awards that was based on Students feedback from across the country. Dr. Shashi Tharoor, then Union Minister of HRD inaugurated it. • Received a Fellowship Award from AAAOE in September 2013 for contribution to Indian education by Vice Chancellor of University of Madras • Provided integral contribution in launching two Indian Travel Trade Magazines, Travel n Hospitality and Travel Trade Journal • Dedicated Correspondent with a nose for news and trend stories, five-year record of commended performance with reputed national dailies like Hindustan Times and Deccan Chronicle/ The Asian Age.
